YOGA FOUNDATIONS COURSE
Learn the foundations of yoga in this light-hearted, 5-week introductory course. Geared towards those absolutely new to yoga, this course is designed to give beginners the experience and confidence to begin a regular yoga practice. Topics include what is yoga, breathing techniques for reducing stress, a calmer more focused mind and boosted immune function, safe alignment of common yoga poses, basics of linking movement and breath, introduction to meditation and deep relaxation techniques, ways to modify postures and solutions for adapting them to suit your needs, and hands-on assistance.
Cost: $50 if paid before 4/14/12, $60 after
Times: Two Sessions: Mondays, 5:45-6:55 & 7:15 - 8:25 PM
