Yin yoga is a relaxing practice of floor postures held for three to five minutes at a time. Yin practice focuses on restoring and gently stretching the connective tissues that form the joints in the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. This is done by learning to relax the muscles which allow the deep fibrous connective tissues to be nourished. Learning to relax in this way helps us to feel and release tensions that are held deep within the body. Reiki is spiritually guided life energy which helps harmonize body, mind and spirit. This is a led yin yoga practice during which Reiki healing energy will be shared with each participant. Be prepared to leave feeling restored with a deep sense of well-being.

 

Class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners.
