Update on Renovations

We are coming along great!!!

The cork floor is laid in the new yoga studio, wall lights up in the studio and hall, one bathroom is completely done and the other will be very soon. We replaced the floors in the two bathrooms and front entry way from linoleum to tile. The majority of the painting is done, and we hope the carpet will be in the first of next week. We could go on and on with all the details. Needless to say, the area needed to be "gutted" and totally redone. Once the "big" jobs are complete, there will be lots of details to tie together. 

We would like to have the new yoga room open within about two weeks…we will keep you well informed as we get closer. It would be our goal to have at least one of the two private rooms ready at the same time. The private rooms will be offering massage, thai yoga massage and reiki with more to come in the future. We are still updating the website with all of the details but please keep checking it out.

We are also expanding our retail area. All the props will be moved to a new "prop room" in the new area. This will allow the front lobby to open up for more retail products. We just ordered LeeLaa Yoga tee shirts, tank tops and long sleeve shirts. We are researching many more products as well!

We will be planning an Open House once all renovations are complete…so please watch for the date.

We never forget for a second that none of this could be possible if it were not for all of you embracing yoga and all it has to offer. So once again thank you so much for all your support!

Renovations to begin soon :)

Yeah, we have a date to begin...Monday 11/28! 

The first thing we will be doing in the renovation process is drywalling the wall between Tom the Tailor and the studio.  Once that is complete we will be reinsulating that wall and the wall between the Tai Kwon Do studio, I know thank goodness!!

While that is underway, we will tearing up all the carpet in the vacant space so that we can begin to build the wall to a new studio room.  It will be a smaller room than we currently have but will allow us to offer much more at the studio.  We will post pictures and keep you informed during the renovation period. 

We will be in need of volunteers, so Karma Yogi's please let  me know if you have any free time to be part of the exciting process.

We do ask for your patience and understanding while construction is underway, it will be alittle hectic at the studio.

Date is set to begin renovations!!!

We will begin renovations to expand the studio on 11/28.  PLEASE, be patient with us during the process, it may be hectic for the month of December. 

The first thing we will do is dry wall the wall between the studio and Tom the Tailors space.  Then we will "blow" insulation in that wall and the wall be the Tai Kwon Do studio to help deaden some noise...Yeah!!

While that is underway we will be tearing up all the carpet in the newly vacant space so we can put a wall up to create another yoga room, it wil be a smaller room than we currently have but much needed. 

We will keep you posted as construction progresses and post pictures as well.  I know we could use volunteers in the process...let me know if you have any free time Karma Yogi's, and I can put you to work.

LeeLaa is Expanding!!!

First and Foremost, all of us at LeeLaa could never thank you enough for embracing this wonderful, amazing "thing" called yoga with us.  Over the past 4 years, it is beyond words, the rewards that have come to opening the studio and meeting such wonderful people and developing such great relationship as we grow together on this journey.  Thank you so much!!!

Because of the unfolding and the embracing of yoga that has occured we have been blessed to be able to expand the studio. 

We will be keeping our space right now and taking over the space that Tom the Tailor is in at this moment. 

The timeline is that he will be leaving the end of November.  Once that happens the construction will begin...yeah.  Our thoughts right now are that we will add an additional studio, a smaller one but very helpful, a prop room, a massage/reiki room, a meditation room and a much needed storage room...oh and an additional bathroom. 

We are very excited, it will take time.  Our first goal is to get the additional studio room ready and then progress from there.  Please be patient with us during the construction process.  It will take time and our hope is that by Jan 1st the new room will be open. 

Once again, we have been blessed with so many great people that have supported us since we opened.  When we opened the doors we were in the start of the recession in the Dayton area and it just goes to show you how powerful and healing yoga can be!
