LeeLaa Yoga 200-hour TT program

About our progam…
Our program is available to all currently practicing yoga and/or meditation at some level.   Yoga is a personal practice. We respect where everyone is at in their practice because we are all at different levels and we grow at different levels as well. As we are all unique in our own way, that needs to be honored so we encourage practicing mindfully.  We promote the mind-body-spirit connection within yourself  which is necessary in the practice of yoga and to pass the knowledge and experiences on to your students.  The program will deepen your personal practice as well as provide you with the proper tools to be a confident, well-trained yoga teacher.  Whether you want to teach yoga or deepen your spiritual practice, this program will provide you with everything you need to do so and much more.
Our program will expose you to many aspects of classical and modern day yoga.  We respect all yogic traditions.  Many of the today’s yoga practices are focused mainly on the physical practice.  In reality that is a very small aspect of this wonderful thing called “Yoga."  We are committed to passing on ancient yoga traditions that have been around for thousands and thousands of years.

Throughout the year…

In this year long program you will have the opportunity to evolve physically, spiritually and emotionally.  With the yoga community that has been established in our area, you will always have the support you need to truly live a yogic life, because yoga is truly a way of life, not an exercise.  You will be amazed at the transformation that will occur within yourself as we progress through the year.  Upon completion of the program you will be a confident, experienced yoga teacher, eligible to be recognized with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 200-hour level.
We strive for this to be a great experience for all involved.  LeeLaa (Lila) means “play, divine playfulness” in Sanskrit.  While we respect and honor the seriousness of these wonderful traditions that have been passed down in time, we want this to be a fun, joyful experience for you.  You will find yourself looking forward to our times together and it has been our experience that there is a sort of sadness once the training is nearing the end.   We will continue to support our graduates in many ways such as satsangs or gatherings where we share experiences, read a book together, practice yoga, have lunch or tea and much more.  This is the start of a wonderful, life-changing journey.
